Catch a bus/jeep from Pokhara to Phedi, and begin your journey to Ghandruk from Phedi. There are ACAP check posts, where you are required to present your TIMS permits. Your destination will be Ghandruk, a wonderful Gurung settlement village. Its charming cluster of closely spaced, slate roofed houses surrounded by neatly terraced fields and framed by outstanding views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhare. The village uses eco – friendly approach to sustain every day activities, by using hydro energy, water mills and solar energy. While trekking from Modi Khola, you can get a spectacular view of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli on the North, and Pokhara and Phewa Taal to the southeast.
