How do I get from the Airport to downtown Kathmandu? |
The Airport Queue Taxi Service Management Committee (AQTSMC); taxis with fixed rates. The AQTSMC is on the ground floor of the airport. Also, like most countries there are 'other' taxis, you will need to decide on a price before you get in. From the Airport to the main tourist area, Thamel, is around 8km and should cost under $2. |
